One example of a career network is the Kresge Writers Network.
Alumni from the UCSC Writing Program, joined other interested alumni,
faculty, and staff to form group in November 2001 when alumna literary
agent Rita Rosenkranz (Cowell '77) returned to teach a class at Kresge
about publishing. The Kresge Writers Network also held a dinner for award-winning
author Evelyn C. White the official biographer of Alice Walker.
